DO FCT INDIGENES HAVE A RIGHT TO ABUJA LANDS?

As individuals and groups continue to push for the political emancipation of the FCT and her people, Abuja original inhabitants’ youth empowerment organisation have put together a Stakeholders consultative meeting in a bid to coming up with a working document to enhance the struggle for their liberation

Speakers at the event appreciated the organisation for coming up with the meeting as this is timely.

The FCT commissioner of public complaint commission Dalhatu Ezekiel Musa added that the Supreme Court has given a judgment interpreting the constitution that FCT is a state.

The special assistant to FCT Minister Inspection and Enforcement Ikharo Attah commended FCT Natives for being peaceful host of the nation’s capital

Adding that they have a right to their lands as other Nigerians, Attah called on the natives of the nation’s capital to first see themselves as Nigerians and whatever other Nigerians can access, they too can.

The executive director of Abuja original inhabitants youth empowerment organisation is hopeful that their plight will soon be a thing of the past.
