The chairman of ALGON FCT and chairman of Kwali Area Council Hon. Danladi Chiya have called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to include an FCT native in his ministerial list
Chiya said this during an interview with journalists after he inaugurated his scholarship committee
He added that a minister from FCT will dowse a lot of agitation thereby fostering unity between FCT people and the federal government.
Danladi Chiya emphasised that ‘President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should appoint anyone as long he is an FCT Indigene’ Chiya added
Recall that natives of the FCT since the return of the nation to democratic rule in 1999 have been protesting for their inclusion in the scheme of things at the federal and state level.
Their hopes are however high on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to bring an end to their age-long marginalisation.
