The minister of the FCT and the Hon Minister of State has met with contractors handling critical projects abandoned within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The meeting was an opportunity to exchange views, extract commitments and develop a working plan as they are determined to ensure contractors return to site and complete their jobs.
To achieve this goal, the Minister said the FCTA would be doing things differently. They would tie the Internally Generated Revenue to specific projects to ensure they are adequately funded.
Barr. Nyesome Wike said the FCTA would not owe contractors and would not accept excuses.

The contractors are expected to perform optimally as they would closely and carefully monitor each project to ensure they finished within the set schedule and specifications.
