In a continuous effort to ensure inclusive government for the people of the FCT, indigenes of the federal capital territory have approached an FCT high court in Abuja to mandate the national assembly to constitute the executive and legislative arm for the people of the FCT.
In reaction, counsel to the FCT original inhabitants says he is optimistic all prayers tabled before the court will be granted and justice will be served at the end of the proceedings.
Hajiya Farida Suleiman Odangi renewed her confidence in the Nigerian judiciary. She further called on FCT natives to maintain calm as justice will be served in their favour at the end of the day.
The case was however adjourned by Justice Sylvanus Orji till 13th July 2023 for a hearing owing to the request by the defence counsel.
