Commissioner Public Complain Commission FCT Dalhatu Ezekiel Musa has called on Gbagyi sons and daughters to be worthy ambassadors of the Gbagyi ethnic group
This was said at the maiden edition of the Most Influential Gbagyi In Nigeria Awards which had the Gbagyi sons and Daughters from different states including the FCT. The award aims at reviving the Gbagyi Sons and Daughters in the spirit of hard work, honesty, perseverance and excellence

Top on this list of awardees include Professor Phillip Shekwolo, Ambassador Esther Audu, the Late Dr. Ladi Kwali, the late Alhaji Bawa Bwari, Umar Barde, the late Senator Idris Kuta, the late Hon. Maimurna Joyce Katai, the late Mrs Jumai Aduda among others
Guests at the event that took place on the 21st October 2023 at Cyprian Ekwensi Centre for Art and Culture Abuja, while commending the organizers of MIGIN 2023 charged the Gbagyi Nation to unite in love to foster the prosperity of the nation.
The pioneer and CEO of Gbagyi Indigenous People Award Initiative Dr. Yusuf Israel Lissa and Nyawosa Bernard Dara chairman on behalf of the organizing committee said the awards are a way to spur Gbagyi sons and daughters to reach out for excellence in their fields of endeavours adding that he is overwhelmed and optimistic that the next edition will be better.
Most Influential Gbagyi In Nigeria is an initiative aimed at awarding excellence in the Gbagyi nation, especially the heroes who contributed immensely to national development.
The organization seeks to write the Gbagyi story by showcasing Gbagyi heroes and talents via periodic magazine production and to create an opportunity for effective networking in the Gbagyi Nation.
