Infrastructural projects are the catalyst for the development of any society, the chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council Christopher Zakka Maikalangu is not leaving any stone unturned in. ensuring that communities in the council have a facelift
Speaking during the groundbreaking of Mabushi Township Road, Maikalangu said he is working enthusiastically, to bring development to communities within his domain.
Mr. Project as people call the chairman in his words added that, “it is our responsibility to meet the needs and aspirations of all the electorates as it enables them to enjoy the dividends of democracy, providing infrastructures cannot be overrated as numerous but necessary to make life easier for the common man, It will as well motivate the residents to carryout their civil responsibility without stress, therefore, our focus has been more of road constructions and rehabilitation in addition to other achievements like rural electrification, water projects, building and renovation of health care facilities, building and refurbishing class rooms in both rural and urban communities.
It may interest you to know that as part of our legacy projects many roads awaits commissioning as I speak in all the twelve political wards in our Area Council.
For record purpose, beginning from 16th June 2022, we’ve committed time and money in roads constructions in Kpeyegyi Community, Damangaza Village, Wunba Village,and Gwagwa by police station. We have also completed Jikoyi and Angwan Sarki Orozo access road, we’re also reawarding Iddo Sarki access road project along Airport road.
We are here to serve the people, and we’ll not rest until we make positive impact across board.
Stakeholders while appreciating the Chairman, they assure him of their unwavering support in his government.
They said regardless political party, Maikalangu’s administration is doing well.
They call on the people of Abuja Municipal Are Council natives and residents alike to support his administration as it promise’s good governance.
The chairman also reassures the electorates that his desire to provide basic amenities such as the construction of roads, Health care facilities, water projects and the building of schools remain unchanging.
