The $500 million World Bank loan request of the federal government led by President Bola Tinubu has been approved
The World Bank Group approved the loan with the aim of supporting the government to invest in the improvement of livelihoods for women in Nigeria. According to reports, the $500m loan is the second the bank will approve for Nigeria government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu
